In the context of Barcelona Design Week 2018 and with the theme of design as a catalyst for social realities, ESDAP Catalunya presents a day of activities at Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació. The event will take place on Thursday, June 7 with a series of activities.
In the first place, there will be a conversation between visual artist Nora Ancarola, philosopher Begoña Román and art researcher and educator Javier Rodrigo who will approach the theme of design as a common space of dissension, a critical space in which to work together.
There will also be an exhibition of the end-of-degree projects of students of the 2016-2017 academic year, which has the title design: dissent, ethics and collective process, with interventions in the space of the students: Carla Flores, Carlos Garrido, Behnaz Rezaei and Berta Vallvé. The exhibition can be seen until June 21.This exhibition articulates and relates the figure of the designer based on his conceptual and formal responses with the aim of stimulating the viewer to question values and solutions for society.
On the same day the design publication will be presented as a space for debate, hybridization and transformation that gathers the activities of ESDAP Catalunya to BDW 2017. The day will close with the catwalk of fashion design students of the 4th year 2017-2018.
In the Espai Blanc of ESDAP Catalunya, Campus Llotja (C / Ciutat de Balaguer, 17. Barcelona) from the 6th to the 13th of June 2018 you can visit the exhibition Rumors i diversitat, a synthesis of the works developed by the students of the subject interdisciplinary projects, with representation of the specialties of graphic, interior, fashion and product.
