BCN Design Week 2011, within the framework of Design Management Day, for the third time will dedicate a day to design management with the Cambra Award for Design Management presentation ceremony, convened by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and BCD Barcelona Design Centre, and with a round table about design management and the internationalisation of the entrepreneurial fabric.
Presentation of the Cambra Award for Design Management
The Cambra Award for Design Management 2011 presentation ceremony, which will be held in the Roca Barcelona Gallery building, will mark the finale of the eighth edition of this award that is unique in the entire state, and which acknowledges companies distinguished for design management used to improve business strategy, products and services, and corporate communication.
Previous editions of the Cambra Award for Design Management have acknowledged excellence in this field from prestigious companies such as Roca (1999), Mobles 114 Barcelona (2001), Industrias Cosmic (2003), nanimarquina (2005), Figueres International Seating (2007), Munich y Ficosa ex equo (2009), and Lékué (2010).
Round table: "Can design help us to get rid of the crisis?"
This debate table, to which various questions will be posed related to design management and the competitiveness of businesses, will have the participation of experts in design management, as well as representatives from companies that are leaders in innovation. The session will be moderated by Ramon Aymerich, chief editor of economics for La Vanguardia.
