Marco Scamuzzi
General Manager of INGENIA, Barcelona

Marco Scamuzzi currently works as General Manager of INGENIA, an aeronautics sector cluster composed of 14 companies, and the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE), which pursues technological excellence through promotion of research projects and initiatives with a strong innovation component, bringing wide experience and solid knowledge of the transport sector (design, engineering, production, etc.).

He has 25 years of experience in the transport industry (the automobile industry, aeronautics, railways, etc.) and has worked with two of the most important design firms in the sector (Pinifarina and Giugiaro), participating in many projects related with the design world, engineering and production and promoting the development of innovative business lines directed to unite creativity, technology and product.
 
He collaborates with CIMNE (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) with the aim of fostering technology transfer and cooperation with the industrial sector, as well as promoting the development of research projects in local and international settings.
